I’ve qualified for the WCQ: European/Oceanian Championship. When will I get my invite?
First of all, congratulations on qualifying for the WCQ: European Championship or WCQ: Oceanian Championship!
Each year we put up a list of Duelists who have earned invites to the WCQ: European Championship or WCQ: Oceanian Championship on our Yu-Gi-Oh! Website. You can find the list on our Events page, under the specific event you’ve qualified for!
Be sure to check out the list of qualified players as we don’t send out invites or certificates by letter or e-mail.
Don’t worry though, you won’t be required to present any kind of certificate in order to enter the WCQ: European Championship/Oceanian Championship but you will be required to show us a photo ID as your name and information will be added to the Invite List, and that is proof that you qualified,
Sometimes your name won't immediately appear on the invited players' list right away, this is because we need to receive information from the organiser of the event that you earned your invitation at and process the file before updating the full invited player list.
If your name is not on the list and you think it should be, the first thing you can do is to confirm with your organiser whether they have sent their WCQ Regional File to KONAMI already. If they have, then it should just be a matter of time before you appear on the list!
I can't find any Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME events in my country on the Yu-Gi-Oh website. Why is this?
This means that currently, we don't have any information about Organized Play in your country, for one of two possible reasons:
- If your country is listed on our Yu-Gi-Oh! site but you can't find any events then it means we haven't announced anything yet but be sure to keep checking back!
- If your country is not listed on our site, then it means that currently, we do not have a distributor for your country so we are unable to support official tournaments.
How does registration work for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series?
On the Saturday of a YCS, we run a registration a couple of hours before the tournament begins. At registration, you just pay for the event, hand in your deck list, and then get your Card Game ID scanned. You’ll also receive a plastic token to redeem at our store for your participation prize.
You can find blank Deck lists to fill out here or you can use our card database to create your Deck list!
Make sure to get your Card Game ID scanned or you won’t show up on the pairings list for round 1!
